The workshop was taught by Ana Brandt of Ana Brandt Photography and let me just say she was amazing. She is not only a fantastic photographer, but she is also a marketing whiz. My head is literally swimming with all the ideas that she gave us; there literally aren't enough hours in the day to get together all the ideas that she gave to us. All I have to say is get ready for some major rebranding and continued improvements from Sialia Photography.
I believe that in your life you should be able to do the things that truly make you happy and give you great joy {your passion}. I believe that finally, at {almost} the age of 35, that I have found my passion and it is maternity {including birth}, newborn and family photography. Outside the love and joy that my children and husband give me, there are very few things in life that make me as happy as my photography. I love the feeling that I get when I am photographing someone straight through editing and delivery prints to my clients! I get a warm and excited feeling that makes me so happy.
Okay, so now would you like to see some of my favorites from the workshop? Well, here they are...
Setting up for a unique hanging sling. Miss "C's" momma brought her belly cast with her and we were able to work it into a hanging sling.
This is one of my favorites of this series. I just love how peaceful she looks here.
Melissa and Ana getting mom and little Miss "C" all wrapped up!
This is definitely one of my favorites!
Ana working with mom on a transitional pose.
Setting up and checking settings before we get going again.
I LOVE this one!
I love how expressive her eyes are in this one and the lighting was amazing as well!
So this is just the first of some of my sneak peeks from the workshop. I will have one if not two more posts coming later this week. Please leave a comment; I love to know who has stopped by and what you think.

Fantastic, Jess! I'm sooooo glad you facilitated my attending this workshop; without your encouragement and kind hospitality I wouldn't have gone and would have missed out. It was a wonderful learning experience and I'm crystallizing my passion as well -- LOVE the beautiful mamas (and they are ALL beautiful) and the precious newborns!
These are fantastic Jess!!! I love the first of mom and baby in front of the window. The light and processing are divine. Also, the gorgeous pregnant mama indian style? Amazing!!
Simply beautiful! Can't wait to see more.
Gorgeous pics Jess :)
