This little lovely is the daughter of a good college friend of my husbands and mine.  Doing sessions for friends always makes it even more special.  I just love being able to share these special images.  to top it off, they came all the way from New Hampshire for her session. She was such a good little one, we were able to do so many different things.  Here are a few of my favorites from her session.

I was so excited to meet baby Hershey, you may remember his mom and dad from their maternity session. Since they didn't know what they were having they refered to the baby as baby Hershey. I think that is SO cute and the nickname has stuck as well, which is even better *grin*!

This little guy was SO good! Once he was asleep he was such a champ and allowed me to do so many new things with him! I have to admit, it is really hard for me to pick just a couple of favs to share with you!

Affordability vs. Quality... What’s in it for you?

When someone describes Sialia Photography, I don’t want the first thing they think of to be affordability. I am not saying that I don’t consider myself affordable, I do. I would just much rather receive comments such as, “Jessica is so easy to work with,” “She is so good with my children,” “She is so patient and gentle with my baby” and “Jessica takes the most amazing pictures of my children.” ... “Oh, and by the way she is pretty affordable too.”

I am sure most of us would agree that, in life, you get what you pay for. None of us would expect a Hyundai to perform like a Lexus. The Hyundai is a nice, reliable car that gets you from point A to point B. It, however, is simply not a Lexus. The fine details, the finishing, the refined ride and other luxurious attributes are not there in the same manner they are on the more expensive and refined brand.

As a mom in the modern world, I definitely agree that there is a time and a place for different levels of service and quality. But, when you are capturing milestones in your children’s lives, precious moments that you just can’t get back or beautiful portraits of your family, the quality of the photographer’s work should be one of your main deciding factors when choosing who to trust to capture your family memories.

I am not the cheapest, nor am I the most expensive. I believe, however, that my clients would agree that you get what you pay for with Sialia Photography. I have yet to meet a parent who would not prefer five fantastic portraits of their child that they can afford over an entire book of mediocre, “affordable” pictures.

As we head into the new year and those special moments arise, please remember that cheaper does not always equal better, sometimes cheaper is just that, cheaper. So, if you are looking for amazing and beautiful portraits, please choose Sialia Photography as you won’t be disappointed. I look forward to meeting and working with you.
