4 HOUR Old Baby Phoebe : Sialia Photography - Westchester County, New York - Newborn Photography

Okay, so it is no secret that I have a HUGE soft spot for babies and an even bigger one for newborns.  I think that when you look through these pictures you will see why!

This one is one of my FAVORITES... just look at those long eyelashes and that sweet face!

I just love photographing all the little baby bits that change so quickly.

Her little lips are just so plump and cute...

 I love newborns ears, the are so cute and they so quickly change and unfold and never look the same again!

So sweet... I just love how he is taking everything about her in.

Dunham Home Birth : Sialia Photography - Westchester County, New York - Birth Photography

Early this past December I had the pleasure of participating in the home-birth of beautiful baby Phoebe.  Anytime I am asked to be part of a birth it is so exciting, but this being a home-birth was such a treat. There was such a wonderful peace in the whole morning. I hope that you all enjoy viewing these pictures.

Photo Contest "YOU be the photographer!"

Who doesn't love a photo contests! You get the chance to share your favorite pictures of your kids AND you get a chance to win a complimentary photo session with a disc of your 10 favorite, full resolution, images from your session ( $300+ value)

Here are the details:

1. Have a little photo session with a child in your life (or you can submit a recent picture, if you prefer!)

2. Send your ONE favorite picture to me via email at sialiaphotography@gmail.com. I will then post them to a special contest album on my facebook fan page.

3. Join my facebook fan page by either going to Facebook and searching for Sialia Photography, or by visiting my facebook fan page directly here: Fan Page

4. Send people (your family, friends, co-workers, etc.) to join my facebook fan page and VOTE for their favorite picture (i.e. YOURS!). See rules below regarding the voting process.

5. The winner will be announced on January 31st based on the total number of votes for each entered image. Votes are counted as comments on each individual image/entry. A person must be a fan of my facebook fan page to vote. Votes from people that are not fans will not be counted!
And here are the rules:

- Entries must be submitted by SATURDAY, JANUARY 16th. I will post all entries on Sunday, January 17th, and the voting will begin immediately!!

- ONE entry per person.

- ONLY separate comments to a picture that state “vote” will be counted as a vote. Simply clicking “like” by the picture will NOT count as a vote!

- ONE vote per person!

- Voting will continue from January 17th through January 30th . Winner will be announced on January 31st, 2010!!!

- Submitted images must be of a child or children under the age of 18.

- For obvious reasons, photos taken by professional photographers will not be accepted.

THE PRIZE!!!

The winner will receive a complimentary custom photo session, up to 2 hours at the location of your choosing, with a disc of your 10 favorite, full resolution, images from your session ($300 value).

The session is non-transferable, must take place within a 3 hour drive of New Milford, Connecticut and is to be redeemed by April 30th, 2010. A signed contract will also be required prior to the session.

Sweet Little Baby N : Sialia Photography - Guilford, CT - Newborn Photography

Dunham Maternity Shoot : Sialia Photography - Westchester County, New York - Maternity Photography

About 3 weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting JD and her great family! We have been talking for a couple of months getting ready to photograph her upcoming birth. This was such a great shoot, we did a little of everything and she was so willing to try anything! We started started outside in their backyard where they have a huge downed tree. I hope that you enjoy this sneak peek of this great shoot!
